Lately i find myself a "Jack of all trades"; not by choice. With employers struggling to pay their workers, a part time job is an unbeatable offer. What does one do in a situation where their focus is spread, their money is tight, and their dreams big? How does one reach their full potential while only being aloud to brush the surface? This practice of a land in debt is effecting its people. This practice is creating the Master of none.

Being a Jack of all trades is not always a bad thing. I feel their is a particular genius in being a true Jack of all trades (even if it's at the expense of being a master). There is many a master that can't ride a horse, and many a horse master that can't write a poem. There are individuals who are great at being a jack of all trades and whos profetions require it of them. I believe there exists a time, a place, and maybe even a lifestyle to which one cannot have enough traits. To those people, I applaud you; it's extremely tiring. To those of us stuck being a Jack for the time being, I urge you to find what you want and use what you have to get it. For those of you able, give a passionate Jack the chance; you may be very surprised at the result.

Thanks for this very thoughtful comment Lindsey. You are so right. Every situation is what you make it, and every talent you have can be brought to bear in most any situation.
